SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, performs assignments designed to develop engineering work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard techniques, practices, and procedures. Provides entry-level engineering support for small and repetitive generation projects. Conducts small or repetitive studies or participates in larger studies where project performance, cost, and scheduling are the key factors of evaluation.

SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, manages all of the engineering aspects of generation projects of moderate scope or for detailed phases of major project efforts. Supports operational areas through the application of standard and non-standard engineering techniques, practices, and procedures.

Knowledge of and ability to apply standard engineering principles and economic and decision analysis to area problems including generation, process, fuels, planning, financial and regulatory issues, asset utilization, and environmental controls and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor¿s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from a four year college or university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET), plus four or more years of engineering experience or three or more with a Fundamentals of Engineering certificate.
Project experience is required.
Master¿s degree is preferred.
Three or more years of on-site plant engineering experience is preferred.
