SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, repairs and maintains vehicles, mechanical equipment, and machinery used for construction and maintenance of energy service and facilities. Updates and completes monthly reports and maintains fleet department accounts payable. Leads the coordination of vehicle, equipment, and machinery design and specifications.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED with five to seven years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a current, legally valid drivers license and meet the companys driving record requirements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Ability to use a personal computer and word processing, customer information systems, and spreadsheet software
ANALYSIS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to identify and define problems and process breakdowns. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand, walk, and stoop up to 2/3 of the time and sit up to 1/3 of the time. Good vision and ability to adjust focus is required. Manual dexterity is required. Ability to carry, reach, and handle items. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Encounters shop hazards such as power machinery, paint and solvent fumes, and toxic cleaning chemicals.

Workshop environment.
